Tuesday Tidbit: Language
Our ability to speak and communicate with others is not something that we should take for granted. We are blessed to be able to express ourselves with specific words and phrases that others understand. Language can be expansive and beautiful, and you should try to articulate your thoughts as best as possible. Here are some beautiful words in the English language.

Brood: to think alone
Coalesce: to unite, grow, or come together to form one mass or whole
Ebullience: bubbling enthusiasm
Eloquence: the art of using language in an apt and fluent way
Ephemeral: short-lived
Ethereal: extremely delicate, light; not of this world
Ineffable: too great to be expressed in words
Iridescent: producing a display of rainbow-like colors
Metanoia: the journey of changing one’s mind, heart, self, or way of life
Nefarious: wicked, villainous, despicable
Plethora: a large quantity
Serendipity: the chance occurrence of events in a beneficial way
Sonder: the realization that each passerby has a life as vivid and complex as your own
Sonorous: an imposingly deep and full sound
Sumptuous: lush, luxurious
Lastly, here is a quote about language and vocabulary from the movie Dead Poets Society (which, by the way, I highly recommend!).
Follow his advice: I challenge you to not use the word “very.” Express your emotions and thoughts with the vocabulary that we have!
