I had the privilege of meeting and interviewing Malkia and was amazed by her intelligence, warmth, joyful spirit, and most of all, her smile! Read more about her HERE!
Malkia is a refugee born and raised in Rwanda. She came to the US in 2016 and at the time could not speak English. One year later, she was writing poetry. I am so glad that I was able to meet Malkia. This girl is the epitome of what “She is Fierce” is all about. Malkia has become a hero and role model to me!
